FIGHT SOCIAL CLUB
As a result of the escalating cases of COVID-19, and under recommendations by the Public Health Agency of Canada, as well as those from Boxing Ontario and the Athletic Commissioner, we have made the decision to postpone the launch of Fight Social Club.
With a mission to provide a platform for women in boxing, it is our utmost priority to consider the health and safety of these professional athletes and we who support and uplift them. It is with heavy hearts that we have advised our fighters, who were deep into their training, that we must reschedule our event on April 25th. However, we stand united with the community to flatten the curve.
Stay tuned for a new date (this Fall 2020), and please be assured that tickets purchased to-date will be honoured for the rescheduled date. We thank you for understanding, and are also thankful to our sponsors who stand in support of our decision.
In the meantime, please take care of yourself and each other. We thank you for your support and hope you stay healthy and happy!
- The Fight Social Club team
For the first time in Toronto, Fight Social Club (FSC) hosts all-female boxing cards semi-annually. Our goal is to uplift women in sport, provide a platform for professional female fighters, and bring sophistication back to boxing.
Launching on April 23, 2020, the main event is Tanja "The Slayer" Ovsenik versus Natasha "The Nightmare" Spence (the former WBF superlight weight Champion). These live, elite sporting events bring together professionals with a live, work play mentality; proud supporters of women in sport; boxing enthusiasts and Toronto sports fans who are looking for something new and exciting. Dress code is business casual.
It all goes down on the floor of the old Toronto Stock Exchange trading floor - now The Design Exchange - where the crowd is no more than 20 from the ring! The venue is conveniently located in Toronto's financial district, steps away from the streetcar and Union station.
See you ringside!
